Romney Picks Paul Ryan for VP Running Mate

Governor Mitt Romney selected Congressman Paul Ryan as his Vice Presidential Running Mate on Saturday, August 11, 2012.

Congressman Ryan is serving his seventh term in Congress representing Wisconsin’s First Congressional District.  He presently serves as Chairman of the House Budget Committee.  Through his “Roadmap for America’s Future” proposal, he is working to eliminate the Federal deficit, reform the tax code and increase accountability to taxpayers.

Congressman Ryan also serves on the House Ways and Means Committee working to make health care more affordable and accessible.

He is a true conservative who understands the consequences our children and grandchildren will face unless the Federal deficit is eliminated and federal spending is  brought under control.
